Amalia's spring

Miss Amalia is having a great spring. Here is a pick of her monitoring the mourning dove nest on our post. She checks it out every morning. She even got to hold one of the babies the other day and was really excited. Her favorite adjective these days is "cute".

Also, she is learning how to cook. Here is Amalia learning how to make gnocchi with Lisa. Some flour even ended up in the gnocchi!

I think spring is finally and officially here. The leaves and flowers are out and the weather in finally, consistently, warmer. Amalia seems to love it. Almost every evening we spend lots of time running around the backyard. She likes to chase the dogs, water plants, help Lisa weed the garden and play with her toys. Although I think her favorite thing is to help me pick up dog poop. She searches around the yard until she finds one and then stands above it, points at it, and says "Dog Poop" until I come over to pick it up. 

Amalia's other favorite this is to monitor the mourning dove nest on our porch. The female dove started incubating eggs a week or so ago. We go out every day or two and check it out. Amalia is fascinated by the whole thing.
