Camilo's birthday

Camilo turned three on May 1. We didn't have a party but we did have presents and cupcakes. Camilo's favorite color is orange so Lisa make orange frosting for the cupcakes. 

He does love cupcakes!

This was a great present that Amalia spent her own money to buy for Camilo. She was insisted that she needed to buy it. Its an excavator. What could be better?

Amalia's sixth birthday

I'm way behind on my posts. So I'm going to try and catch up. So here are some pics from Amalia's birthday. It was her sixth. Pretty amazing to consider she is already 6 years old. 

This first pic is actually from my birthday. This is the cake that Amalia, Camilo and Lisa made for me. It was delicious!

Here are the cupcakes (make by Lisa) and cookies from the bakery, that we had for Amalia's party. She wanted to have her party at the Price House Nature Center. They opened the center just for us and one of Lisa's students showed up to give the kids a reptile and amphibian show.

As most people know, the kids and I spend a lot of time on the Huckleberry Trail. Many days we just use it to take the long way home. On the weekends we often ride out to the 'train tracks'. Another one of Camilo's favorite places to visit is the 'construction site'. Its about 1.5 miles from our house and they are expanding the corporate research center there. Its a great place to visit because there are construction machines and, since its near the airport, airplanes. Well, we visited the site a few weeks ago and found some machines that were available to exploration... and no one around to chase us away.

first tooth!

Amalia lost her first tooth! The new tooth was coming in so she had to get that one out.
